The Garage Floor Company™ franchise opportunity was built with simplicity in mind. We are looking for individuals with mechanical aptitude, good business sense, enthusiasm for the brand, and strong work ethic. Franchise owners should be physically able to do the work, licensed drivers, and able to pass a background check. Business owners in similar industry sectors are welcome to consider our concept as an add-on concept to complement their existing business. If you are financially qualified and can’t wait to learn what our concept is all about, we welcome the opportunity to meet with you.
Each franchise owner will be required to attend and complete initial training with our team, both at our headquarters and in the field for 1 week. An additional 1 week of training will be done at the Franchisee’s HQ with a training staff member. Our management team will assist with system operations, product knowledge and installation techniques. Ongoing training will also be available. All new owners will receive a proprietary, confidential operations manual with important details needed to help run the business and assist with day-to-day activities. We will also provide access to our exclusive suite of coating products and solutions.
The total investment necessary to begin operations ranges from $111,381 to $250,657 for a single location, including an initial franchise territory fee of $17,500 for the Founders Club. This is for the first 10 locations and is 50% of the regular fee. As with any new venture, it’s important to have adequate capital to fund the initial business growth stages.
We do not provide direct financing to franchise owners, but we may refer to financing sources on a case by case basis.
We charge a royalty fee equal to 5% of gross revenues or a minimum flat fee, whichever is greater. (The minimum flat fee is waived in Year 1 of franchise operations). The royalty is collected every two weeks, and franchisees pay the higher of either the flat fee amount or 5% of actual gross sales each payment period. To support marketing of the brand and the franchisee’s local business, The Garage Floor Company™ franchise owners will also contribute 2% of gross sales (which could increase to 3% with prior notice), or a minimum flat fee starting Year Two, into the brand development fund. And, franchisees must spend at least $500 per month for local marketing which they implement directly. Collected fees allow us to fund our ongoing support services and the continued development of products, supply channels, marketing tools, training programs, and systems upgrades. The initial term of your agreement is five years, with three subsequent successor agreement options of five years.

Yes, you will receive a protected available territory of up to 1 million population with no more than 2 per metropolitan area. The territory would be contiguous and will be for that metropolitan area only. So the actual population may vary depending on the location that is chosen. This is by far the largest territories on the market and allows for significant growth opportunities.
